Des is a force.  A visionary of style and design.  By her early twenties she'd already built and styled what remains one of the West's most iconic homes.  See Project No. 2 ~ The Stone Gate Château, in the portfolio of Our Work.  Her passion for the process, insatiable drive, innate ability to "get"genre - and rarer still, to tap it - and her unparalleled picker's eye have produced a remarkable volume of entirely distinctive homes, spaces, and domains that continue to define the signature, anti-trend home design of the entire region.

James dropped out of design school.  In love with the visual, emotional, narrative alchemy of cinema, he began a career designing and "dressing" movie sets.  Screenwriting, producing, Los Angeles, Paris, and projects spanning the globe for over 20 years followed.  ​For his second act, James fell in love again.  With his thought-impossible perfect match, touchstone, muse and lover.  Joining forces with Des the story has come full circle, as together they design, build, and style homes that indelibly recount place, history, family, quality, and passion.
